Work/APIC: Rashida A. Conway is currently the Director of Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County Service Area Infection Prevention and Control in Southern California. She is board certified in Infection Control, holds a Masters Degree in Nursing with an Emphasis in Leadership in Health Care Systems.  She has been a Registered Nurse for 7 years with 3 years of background in Emergency Services and 4 years in Infection Control. She has recently co-authored an article that has been accepted for publication by The American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) for reducing Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections in the Intensive Care Unit. Her work has been recognized by her peers as a recipient of the DAISY Award for her numerous efforts at the height of and throughout the pandemic. Her passionate belief in preventing infections in the hospital environment has led to the significant decrease in hospital acquired infections for CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, and SSI.
